Tracking a Venezuela-linked Oil Tanker 'Pursued' by American Maritime Authorities

Our team is checking video footage and photographs shared this morning that purport to show the aftermath of a reported vehicle-borne explosive blast that Russian officials state fatally injured a senior soldier in Moscow.
Russian authorities confirmed that Lt Gen Fanil Sarvarov was inside the vehicle that exploded and that he succumbed of his wounds. A probe is under way.
The initial step to verify the site from which the images were from was based on posts indicating the blast occurred on Yasenevaya Ulitsa in the southern district of the capital city of Russia.
We used panoramic mapping services on Google Maps and the Russian search engine Yandex to corroborate the unique yellow colour of a nearby residential complex captured in the video.
Locating other buildings, lamp-posts and the street layout verified the exact location the pictures were captured.
We also checked that the video clips were new and that the images had not been manipulated.
